Their relentless work ethic and innate charisma quickly propelled them into the spotlight. In the 1980s, they launched Lashong Designer Wear, channeling their creative vision into over 200 fashion shows. Their talents also shone on screen as dancers on the popular television show “Stars of Tomorrow,” showcasing the energy and stage presence that would become their trademark. Their ambition, however, reached far beyond the runway and the dance floor.
Their unique appeal caught the attention of a Hollywood casting director, who secured them under an exclusive one-year contract to develop a reality show, a pioneering concept at the time. Their expertise also made them sought-after guests on national networks like Lifetime TV and MTV. In Detroit, they were hometown icons, regularly featured in The Detroit News, The Free Press, and The Observer. With a passion for health and empowerment, they expanded their mission with the Z-Box Fitness DVD, a natural extension of their passion for making wellness accessible to everyone and an award winning cable fitness show, “Fitness Motivators,” becoming familiar faces in homes across Detroit and beyond for 16 years. Their expertise made them trusted media personalities, leading to frequent features on Detroit FOX 2 News, WDIV Channel 4, and WXYZ Channel 7, as well as in national publications like USA Today.
